Choosing Between Them
If you want a performance disc setup, the SUPERTEAM Carbon wheels are my choice for speed, while the WEEROCK alloy set is the most versatile daily commuter. For the dedicated city rider, I recommend the Origin8 700C Fixie wheelset as the overall best pick because its reliable hub engagement is essential for fixed gear safety. If you are racing against the clock, the 60mm Carbon rims are the ones to have.
One important caveat for everyone: moving to carbon wheels often requires specialized brake pads to avoid damaging the rim surface, unlike the simple and forgiving nature of alloy rims. Always check your frame clearance and braking system before you lock in your purchase.
